For a long period of time you have been getting sore at your wife and kids for trivial issues.
Later on you feel that you should not have flared up at them, but you cannot control yourself.

If the person from whom you have purchased it passes away, you will be in a real mess.

Each night while you try to sleep, these things haunt you and keep your mind occupied.
You feel restless due to these circumstances and cannot sleep peacefully and the end result is that you are full of stress and strain.
Your face has an odd look when you wake up in the morning and even if you take more than your normal quota of coffee, you still have a hangover.
You might not be aware of it, but this stress and strain is acting on your system like a slow poison and you can be rest assured that one day or the other it will plague with various illnesses and might even result in your untimely death.
Of all things in life, stress is the worst and there is hardly any person who can say confidently and truthfully that they are not suffering from stress.
If you are not aware, you can reduce these deathly stresses while attending to your normal work routine.
Basically you need to distress yourself by diverting your attention to other things that will take your attention away from the things that are stressing your mind.
If you love music, why not listen to the type of music you like, especially at night? This will help your mind to divert itself from the disturbing thoughts that are plaguing it.
There are many yoga exercises that can help you to overcome both stress and strain and you can consult with any yoga specialist and follow the exercises prescribed by them.
There is one simple thing that you can also try.
Just lie down on a mat in a sunny area and relax while keeping your eyes closed and breathing slowly and at a fixed rhythm.
Try to stretch your body and elongate it and after some time let it relax.
This will improve the blood circulation in all parts of the body and provide your brain with comfort.
In cases of acute stress and strain, you might opt in for sedatives to be taken at bedtime for some days.
You should never take sedatives without consulting your physician.
Changing your daily routine also helps.
Instead of working for late hours at night, give your brain more time to relax by going in to sleep earlier than normal.
